Caring for my mother
I’ve been an unpaid carer for my mother for 4 years now, my life has changed in so many ways. I still work but can only do part time because mum has become very needy . She has Parkinson’s with lewys body , is 85 and lives near me which can be stressful.
Financially giving up full time work has hit us as a family hard. I have a partner, 3 grown up sons and two grandchildren. It’s mentally draining trying to support everyone.
My sister died so I’m the only person who can be there.
