The government seems to have forgotten about carers
It has been very difficult to manage as a carer now that restrictions have been lifted. My cared for person has complete kidney failure as well as other health conditions. She caught Covid and had to spend eight days in hospital from Easter Sunday and she has just been admitted to hospital suffering from unexplained vomiting and severe muscle weakness. Thank goodness that NHS staff who are working under enormous pressure were able to look after her so she was able to recover and be discharged.
