I wish GPswould understand that if the person we care for is underthe care of a hospital specialist, that
A)that specialist will not deal with every medical issue that the patient has e.g. If there is a problem with his bladder meds neuro won't be able to help source them.
B) if I or our kids are unwell, we need to be seen ASAP so we can keep supporting hubby with PD
C)having a policy of not seeing a patient who is under the care of a hospital specialist is not helpful & costs the NHS more!
