A struggle
To all those out there who are sharing my challenges.
My 91 Yr old mum lives on her own in the next road with vascular and mixed dementia.
Navigation of the whole process of getting help has been challenging. 42 weeks for the memory to do an assessment to gain a formal diagnosis. 3 months for the social to assess to go into a home for her own safety. Now we wait for the process to gather info to help with funding. In the meantime it's keeping a confued lady safe and calm. Itsheartbraking
